Preserving the Promise of the American Dream in the Heartland
We are pleased to introduce an American Dream Initiative solutions summit taking place in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on October 24–25, 2024.
Hosted by the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), this exclusive gathering will convene state and local leaders to share ideas, network, and engage in discussions on advancing the American Dream. Programming will center on policies designed to build personal agency in young people, break cycles of intergenerational poverty, and advance opportunity in America’s heartland. Confirmed speakers include Tulsa Mayor G. T. Bynum, AEI President Robert Doar, research fellows from AEI’s Center on Opportunity and Social Mobility, and a host of state and local voices focused on K–12 education, workforce development, and economic development.
We hope that you will join us for this summit, which will elevate ideas, research, and on-the-ground knowledge about how we can empower individuals and communities to promote upward mobility and prosperity in Oklahoma and across America’s heartland.
Event Details
The Solutions Summit will take place on Friday, October 25, at the Mayo Hotel from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CT and will include breakfast and lunch. A networking reception and dinner program will be held the evening before on Thursday, October 24, at the Gathering Place’s Williams Lodge from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. CT.
